Arequipa, Peru
Abundant Blessings Ministry
The Trip
The journey began when the team from
all over the U.S. arrived at Miami
International Airport.  We then flew for
five hours into Lima, Peru.

Going through immigration and
customs was a learning experience and
it was after midnight before we got on
to the bus to our hotel.  We were up
early and headed back to the airport to
fly to Arequipa.

We were met at the airport by a crowd
of people with flowers and signs and
lots of hugs.  I knew it was going to be
a great visit!

Evening Crusades
That evening we had the first crusade
held in a park. The mountains and the
volcano could still be seen in the
evening sky. The worship was led by
the local churches and was a blend of
traditional, mountain and contemporary
music.  It was very good.  The prayer
and ministry time was intense and God
moved.

The second evening crusade was held
at another park.  Many people stood at
their doors, windows and on the roof of
their houses to see and hear us.  When
the salvation call went out, they left
their homes and poured into the park.

The Saturday evening crusade was
held in the center of a town were
church groups had never been invited
before.  The message was powerful,
people came off the streets for
salvation.  Major deliverances
happened and lives were changed.
This service had the most impact on my
life and you can call me to talk about it.

Women's Conference
Wednesday morning was the Women’s
Conference at a church several blocks
from our hotel.  It was a former theater
with balconies and a big stage. Over 60
women attended.  Again the ministry
time was powerful and all were blessed
.

Children's Crusades
The children crusades were held on
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at
three different locations.  There were
over 300 children each day.  There was
lots of music, dancing, stories and
great fun.  The “Wordless Book” was
used to tell about salvation and the
children understood it.  When led in
the prayer there was a great response
and the children truly gave their hearts
to the Lord.

Pastor/Leader Conference
Thursday morning was the Pastor-
Leader Conference with over 80 men
and women in attendance.

As one of the speakers,  I taught on the
“The Six Spirits Against the
Church/Ministry”.  It was a powerful
time as these leaders stood and
declared their authority through Jesus
Christ over these spirits.  They were
encouraged to go back to their
congregations and teach the people
how to overcome and bind these
spirits for victory in their lives and to
fulfill God’s plans and purposes.

Business Leaders Conference
Friday morning was the Business
Leaders Conference.  Two hundred
business leaders, city government
officials and pastors attended.  This
was a history making event with a
Christian business leader speaking to
these leaders.

I spoke on three topics: "Business
Ethics - Being a Leader of Influence";
"Conflict Management/Problem
Solving"; & "The Keys to Being the
Best Leaders ."  These Bible based
principles were well received.

The luncheon was a huge success,
also. I want to thank again R.W. Beckett
Co. and Karl Ruether, Sr. for their
generous support for this conference.

Prison Ministry
Two teams went into the prisons to
teach and pray that afternoon.  The
men's prison saw many salvations.  The
women's prison experienced a healing
flow of ministry.

The People and Land
Saturday during the day we had a tour
of the countryside and headed into the
mountains.  Agriculture and alpaca
farms are a major industry in this part
of Peru.  We also got to go shopping.

Sunday Services
On Sunday, we visited three different
churches.  I taught at the first church
the message “The Confessions of a
Sheep”, a teaching on the real meaning
of the 23rd Psalm.  The people stood
and professed the blessings on their
lives and understood what God has
planned for them everyday!

The other services were also powerful,
one whole church received the
baptism of the Holy Spirit and at the
other church many miracles and
healings took place.

Korean Missions
Monday was packing, final shopping
and then we were taken to the Korean
Mission for lunch.  They picked us up in
their Mercedes-Benz bus. We toured
the facility—150 seat church,
classrooms to teach the local people
various trades—cosmetology, welding,
auto body, computer technology,
sewing, farming.  Pastor Patricia came
to Peru 20 years ago from Pastor Cho’s
church in S. Korea.  She and her
husband have done a great work and
have received great favor from the
government in Peru.

We left Arequipa with a new love and
changed lives from this wonderful
experience.  The people were so
loving and giving and very open to
hear God’s Word for them today!  There
are many strongholds over this country
and the enemy doesn’t want to give it
up.  We thank God for the opportunity
to shake up the atmosphere and let His
light shine in this area.  The people
there and this lady will never be the
same!
